Nothing rounds off the weekend quite like a Sunday dinner. From 12pm each Sunday, join us for our well-loved Sunday roast, created using only the best quality, locally sourced meats and fresh vegetables, and served with all the trimmings.
Paired with a glass of wine, or one of the locally brewed beers from our extensive drinks menu, we look forward to spending a relaxed Sunday afternoon with you at our Edinburgh bistro.

From Farm to Table – Fresh Local Ingredients
Here at Whiskers Wine Bar and Bistro, we pride ourselves on creating a menu formed of locally sourced ingredients, producing dishes that are fresh, colourful, and truly delicious.
Our Sunday roast comprises of roasted Scottish Hardiesmill beef, served with a beautiful array of seasonal veg, alongside all of the important trimmings. We also serve cuts of various other locally reared meats, and of course offer a vegetarian option, meaning there is something for everyone at our bistro and wine bar.

Hardiesmill Ethical Scotch Beef
Hardiesmill, a farm since 1560, is a family owned farm in the Scottish Borders run by Robin & Alison Tuke, along with a small & dedicated team. The name, Hardiesmill Ethical Scotch Beef, says at all - their cattle live all of their lives on the farm, no buying in, so they have full control on the entire process, giving full traceability from farm to plate. The cattle eat species-rich grass, grass silage & hay (no hormones, no steroids, no pesticides & no grain). It’s these factors, along with the lovely open terrain of the Scottish Borders & the knowledge & expertise of their team, that produces such fantastic beef. Hardiesmill is considered one of the top five beef brands in the world & was featured in a 2014 documentary & 2015 book of the same name “Steak (R)evolution”.
